About Salt & Light

Our mission is to share God's Word, comfort those who are hurting, and to help supply the needs of those who are struggling. We do this by following God's will as He leads us, from our speaking ministry, to materials and products, to contributing to others financially. All donations to Salt and Light Ministry are distributed to children’s homes, women’s shelters, food pantries, missions and others in need. 

The voice of Salt and Light Ministry is Dr. Debra Peppers.

Dr. Peppers is the weekly host of the television program The Outreach Connection on CTN’s WTJR TV  in the Quad State area out of Quincy Il. and co-host of Quest for Character on KJSL radio at 8pm Tuesdays when she is not traveling.

Debra hosted "Talk From The Heart with Dr. Debra Peppers" for 10 years, Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm on KJSL radio, "Shakin' the Salt and Shinin' the Light!"

She also hosted the inspirational segment on the weekly television program "See Hear". 

In addition to spreading God's word through the media, she also is an accomplished professional speaker traveling nationally and internationally speaking to thousands of churches, schools, businesses, and community organizations. Money donated to the ministry as a result of these engagements is used to provide for those in need. 

On the adjunct faculty of Webster University, Dr. Peppers teaches Masters level courses in communication, education, theater and classroom instruction for teachers.
